Melissa is 6!

Melissa’s birthday was actually 2 weeks ago, and I’ve finally got around to reporting on it. She’s my oldest, and even though it’s been 6 years since I gave birth to her, time has flown so fast it seems like it was only yesterday that I brought her forth into this world. It just doesn’t seem that long ago that I was holding her to my body nursing her and calling her my “little bitty girl.”

We had a little party for her at our house the Sunday after her birthday. She’s into all things Tinkerbell right now, so I had a Tinkerbell and fairies cake made for her. The 6 fairies on the cake are keepsake toys that can be bought at the Disney Store and can be removed from the pedestals they’re mounted on.
